CT Paid Leave
Connecticut Paid Leave (CTPL) provides income replacement benefits to eligible workers needing time off for family or health-related reasons, such as caring for a new child, a serious health condition, or military family needs. Administered by the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority, the program handles benefits and compliance, while appeals are managed by the Connecticut Department of Labor to ensure workers' rights are upheld.
What was achieved…
As a Marketing Specialist with CTPL, I spearheaded the development of their marketing plan and strategy, earning recognition from the then-CEO for my contributions. This strategy identified key opportunities to effectively communicate the program's benefits and maximize outreach.
Additionally, I supported UX research and played a key role in the design and development of the website and system use by conducting customer interviews as well as usability and user testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
I also executed Spanish translation to support change management communication needs.
